I just graduated Vanderbilt University with my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in materials science. I have engineering intern certification (EIT) for the state of Tennessee. I have over 5 years of work experience in the IT sector; with my newly acquired degree I would like to put my technical skills to use as an engineer. I have a strong background in 3D modeling and rapid prototyping and experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Diagnosed, repaired, and set up business and residential computers, servers, DVRs, networks, and websites
Research & Projects

Senior Design ProjectNashville, TN - 2016-2017

Soft Robotic Deep Sea Sample Collection Tool

Fragile ocean samples require delicate collection tools. My team continued development of a soft robotic tool for collecting deep ocean specimens (at depths greater than 50 m). This tool is to be used as the end effector on remotely operated underwater robotic vehicles.

  • Investigated non-contact linear density measurement of multi-filament fibers
  • Completed several revisions to the static test stand and helped finalize calibration procedures

Laboratory for Systems
